Kodiak

This show was such a treat- musically and visually. I love shooting shows because the lighting gives me a challenge, and the old, beat up venues they're usually in are awesome. Clayton and I headed to Broad Ripple to see Kodiak, a new band of an old friend, and they were awesome. They're kicking it old school by not promoting online- so I can't provide a link for them, but if you hear about them on the Indy scene they are definitely worth checking out!

McCauley Family

What a fun family! We headed out October 17th to shoot the McCauley family at their beautiful home in Prospect, KY. It was so nice seeing such a close family who really know how to have fun together and be themselves. My favorite? The photo of Marie laughing with her three sons, there's nothing like a mama and her boys!!! I love it. You guys were great, thanks for having us!!!

October 15, 2010 Bower Field Dedication

I braved the chill this brisk October morning to shoot the dedication/grand opening of the long awaited Bower Field of Walden School. It's always nice to be back on my old stomping grounds :) The dedication was complete with wolverine mascot, color guard, and the city of St. Matthews naming it official "Walden School Day"! After the speeches, Walden fight song, and ribbon cutting, Mr. Jackson let the students in their ceremonial first lap around the track. Later, everyone celebrated by looking through old year books and reminiscing with alums, eating BBQ, and even a special 35 year anniversary Walden School cake! And don't forget music by a student band (who were amazing by the way) and the famous Wulfe Brothers.
