Ashley and Aaron- October 15, 2011

"Clark" and I had such a fun day with these two and their wedding party of 20!!!! Only they will understand why I would call my husband something other than Clayton, but that just about sums up our day with them---it was awesome! ;)

Aaron and Ashley tied the knot at Sacred Heart in Indianapolis and partied the night away at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. Ashley is studying to be a teacher, and as such, every minute and every detail of her big day was planned to a tee- which we love! Her shoes were rockin, her dress was GORGEOUS, and all her bridesmaids were lovely as well. The details were so thoughtful, including her and Aaron's love of the Chicago Cubs incorporated in her garter, his cufflinks (made of old Wrigley Field seats!) and the groom's cake. We will be updating this blog post little by little to show the whole day--so stay posted!

Byron and Bethany

We had the great pleasure of shooting Byron and Bethany tie the knot on the waterfront in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. These two are too cute! Clayton and I identified with their love for vintage and details; it all made their special day so lovely! Congrats guys, your full gallery is coming soon! Enjoy the peeks for now... :)

The Ledbetters

We had a great fall shoot with the Ledbetter family around their beautiful home in Nashville, Indiana. The leaves don't get much better than this! And this family doesn't get much cuter ;)

Bonnie and Colin

These two said "I do" in front of the historic house at beautiful Locust Grove along with their family and friends. We loved Bonnie and Colin for their wonderful "un-traditional-ness" :) Bonnie is a native of Louisville, while she met Colin in Oakland, CA where they now live. Since their relationship has taken them all over the country, the entire wedding carried this adorable theme based on what happens to be one of our favorite songs, "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. (See adorable travel themed details and granola jar favors quoting the song) Instead of a wedding party, they arranged for a 'wedding chorus' to join them during the ceremony in singing "Home" to the audience. I welled up when Bonnie and Colin used to interlude in the middle of the song to tell each other when they realized that "home" meant they were with the other, it was so sweet!

Congrats to an adorable couple who are obviously meant for one another, it was such a pleasure to capture your special day!!!

Christofer, Aubrey, Chelsea, and Kirsten

Spent the evening with three sweet sisters and an awesome guy from Sweden last week! We had a great time at the canal here in Indy and enjoyed a walk to Creation Cafe afterwards, yum!
