Bonnie and Colin

These two said "I do" in front of the historic house at beautiful Locust Grove along with their family and friends. We loved Bonnie and Colin for their wonderful "un-traditional-ness" :) Bonnie is a native of Louisville, while she met Colin in Oakland, CA where they now live. Since their relationship has taken them all over the country, the entire wedding carried this adorable theme based on what happens to be one of our favorite songs, "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. (See adorable travel themed details and granola jar favors quoting the song) Instead of a wedding party, they arranged for a 'wedding chorus' to join them during the ceremony in singing "Home" to the audience. I welled up when Bonnie and Colin used to interlude in the middle of the song to tell each other when they realized that "home" meant they were with the other, it was so sweet!

Congrats to an adorable couple who are obviously meant for one another, it was such a pleasure to capture your special day!!!

Spent the evening with three sweet sisters and an awesome guy from Sweden last week! We had a great time at the canal here in Indy and enjoyed a walk to Creation Cafe afterwards, yum!

Christina and Roberto

Christina and Roberto travelled all the way from Spain to celebrate their one year anniversary with family and friends in Old Louisville. The night started out with champagne and hors d'oeuvres at the Dupont Mansion, and then we took a short walk across the street for a quaint dinner at the Inn at the Park. Both buildings are so lovely and capture all that Old Louisville has to offer. It was so nice to spend the evening with this sweet couple :)

Ashley and Aaron

We met up with Aaron and Ashley at Marian University for their engagement photos. We started off at the baseball field there, as they are big Cubs fans! She even made a custom name plate for them with their wedding date. There were so many other beautiful places on campus, including these awesome oriental gardens. Lindsey and Nate

Lindsey and Nate tied the knot at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple- it was an awesome venue for a wedding! We dodged the rain for photos and still had a blast even with muddy feet :) These two were so adorable and laid back the entire day...such a pleasure to work with! Enjoy this preview of their day...
